Consequence Speaks On Grammy Nod For Beyonce's "Party"

Cons shares his excitement in being nominated for his first Grammy.

Last night, Beyonce’s “Party” featuring Andre 3000 was nominated for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for the 2012 Grammy Awards. Consequence, who co-produced with Kanye West, co-wrote and rapped on its chorus, has spoken on his first Grammy nod, calling the nod a "crowning achievement in my career and a solidification of all claims."
“We Did It, You Damn Right We Did It!!!” wrote Cons. “Beyonce's latest single ‘Party’ has been Nominated for a Grammy!!! A record in which I served as a Vocalist (that's me on the Chorus), Co-writer & Co-Producer.
“Be clear the prestige of a Grammy Nomination is Unparalleled in the Music Business,” he continued. “This is a crowning achievement in my career and a solidification of all claims.”
“Party,” which is number one at urban radio this week, comes off of Beyonce’s latest album 4, released in June 2011.
